Acupuncture
Acupuncture involves the stimulation of a specific acupuncture point along channel pathways on the body by the insertion of needles to prevent or modify the perception of pain or to normalize physiological functions, including pain control for the treatment of certain diseases or dysfunctions of the body, and includes the techniques of electroacupuncture, cupping, and moxibustion. By inserting acupuncture needles strategically in acupuncture points, the needles stimulate the body’s healing mechanisms.
Acupuncture is used worldwide to treat the following conditions:

Acupressure / Manual Therapy
I often use acupressure/ manual therapy to feel tense areas on the body that need to be released in order to promote and improve circulation which in turn promotes healing. Patients may feel discomfort in areas where there is a lot of tension, similar to when you get a deep tissue massage.
Cupping
Cupping devices are usually applied on the back but it can be applied to other parts of the body. The practitioner uses cupping devices to produces a suction or vacuum effect resulting in what I would describe as an inverse massage therapy. Whether cupping is applied alone or in combination with acupuncture, studies have shown cupping may help relieve conditions such as arthritis, muscle tension, back and neck pain, and facial paralysis.
Testimonials
Sunny is simply brilliant! Not only is she incredible at what she does, she is a fantastic person who makes it her mission to help you from the moment she meets you! Sunny is near our summer home in Navarre beach and as I go down there several times a year, I go and see her at least twice a week when I’m in town. Never in the medical field have I come across such a focused, knowledgeable, patient and personable
Individual. She treats her patients through the most up to date medicine, but she also uses nutrition and holistic approaches to treat her patients! Everyone that travels with me to Florida ends up getting the true ‘Sunny experience!’ My only wish is that she was closer to my home in Georgia!

All I can say is Mrs Sunny-Kim Barden is very knowledgeable and informs you of the procedure from the moment you meet.
She is kind and takes time to explain the entire process.
If you are in doubt of having acupuncture done please go see her and I promise you you will not regret it.
Thank you Sunny for the procedure and the knowledge of acupuncture I feel as a new person and improving day by day with all I have learned from the treatments
Thanks

Consultation
I believe consultation or coaching is the most important part of a treatment session. This is where I get to know you. We discuss what hasn't worked, sometimes for decades for some patients, in order to discover the missing key to get you on the right path. We discuss nutrition, lifestyle modification (ergonomics, sleep habits, stretching), homeopathics, identify stressors, and strategies to reduce and manage stress.
